"The retreat is designed for Jr. & Sr. High students to spend a weekend engaging with their personal relationship with God and to come back refreshed and renewed. The retreat will be at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Ml and skiing at Boyne Mountain. If you don't like to ski or snowboard, Boyne Mountain has an indoor waterpark. The cost for the retreat is a great value at $135 (which includes lodging, 5 meals, conference, transportation, chaperone costs and a T-Shirt). The Lift Ticket at the slopes is an additional $60, Equipment Rental is $40, and the Waterpark is $45. We are working on finalizing a group rate for ski lessons for first time skiers, which are required to prevent any accidents.
This year, our speaker will be Mike Gmetro. Mike is a very engaging speaker with a powerful testimony. Attaboy a Christian band from Huntington, IN, will be leading our worship time this year as well.
Our theme for 2012 is Unstoppable. We are going to be talking about the things we might view as Unstoppable in our lives and how ultimately the only Unstoppable thing is Our God."
